Commisioned as a Christmas present to a nice who loved her animals: A horse, cat and three dogs.
This illustration was commissioned by the Assosiation of political scientists as a parting present to their retiring collegue Ólafur Harðarson. The words I worked with were: Shorts, sheep, pipe, food, flags and books
Commisioned by a mother for her two children. The info I got to work with was: The two siblings playing by Ægisíða in Reykjavík wearing rainbow clothes, one picture per season. I had never met these children, but I got some photos of them to get an idea of what they were like and the amazing thing was that the mother said that without much information I had captured their different personalities quite acutely: The brother being very calm and attentive and the sister a little butterfly.
An illustration inspired by a performance of three artsongs by Hildigunnur Rúnarsdóttir and Þórarinn Eldjárn
A fairytale princess commisioned by a friend. The words I got to work with were fairy tale, dance and the moon
